The Year of the Flood by Margaret Atwood

Mary suggested that the blog might be a good place to write our comments, reviews, etc about the book of the month. This will also cut down on some of the work for Mary, who so diligently tries to keep track of what happens at our meetings.

After you finish the book, let us know what you think about it. This could be a great way to hear everyone's input, especially if you miss the meeting, finish the book after the meeting or just have something else to add to the discussion.

Please post your thoughts about The Year of the Flood in the comments section below.

I am so bummed I missed Book Group. I was interested in hearing what everyone thought. I was thinking it would have been a hard book to discuss because we hit on many of these points with the first book. I was mostly interested what people thought of Atwood's ideas and how many of her thoughts and ideas will ring true in our future. That being said we are seeing right now the idea of poisoning our world with radiation which is not so far off from a plague. Hope it was fun for all.
